What Are You Really Thankful For?
"O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for
ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for
his mercy endureth for ever. To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that
by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for
his mercy endureth for ever. To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever: The sun to rule by
day: for his mercy endureth for ever: The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him
that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever: And
brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever: With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm:
for his mercy endureth for ever. To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever: And
made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever: But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the
Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth
for ever. To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever: And slew famous kings: for his mercy
endureth for ever: Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever: And Og the king of Bashan: for his
mercy endureth for ever: And gave their land for a heritage: for his mercy endureth for ever: Even a heritage unto
Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever. Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for
ever: And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever. Who giveth food to all flesh: for
his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever." (Psalm
136 KJV)
The
Message puts it, "Thank God whose love never quits!" No matter what the valley is in our lives, He never quits.
We may quit and give up on the Lord, but for someone who once knew Him, the desire still lies beneath in the depths of your
heart! Don't quit. The answers you seek are there. Let this be your prayer ... Change my heart O God!
One of my favorite verses is Psalm 19:14, "Let the Words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in
Thy sight, O Lord my strength and my redeemer." I should have read this verse yesterday. That is a prayer
of Thanksgiving though ... the Lord convicts us and brings someone in our path to remind us ... and brings our prayers back
to change my heart O Lord. I love the song Let There Be Peace on Earth. It is
sung at Christmas time, but did you ever listen to the words? It says ... Let it begin with me! Let
there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me. Let there be peace on Earth, the peace that was meant to
be.
With God as our Father, brothers all are we, Let me walk with my brother, in perfect
harmony.
Let peace begin with me, let this be the moment now. With every step I take, let
this be my solemn vow,
To take each moment and live each moment in peace, eternally. Let there be Peace
on Earth, and let it begin with me.
As I sit
today, I think about everyday things I am thankful for, my husband, children, family, health, my job, a roof over my head,
a warm house, food on our table, my friends, my church ... I could go on and on ... with each day when we get up we need to
start counting our blessings. We should Thank God for the freedom we have to live in this awesome country.
I pray you all have a Blessed Thanksgiving - I know some of you will be traveling today I pray that you have a safe trip to
and from your destinations. Remember to pray for our military serving so that we can enjoy this freedom! Please
continue to pray for the Craven's and remember Presley as she continues to heal. Have a great Tuesday. Love,
Tracy

Trusting the Unseen
"Show me thy ways, O LORD;
teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the
day. Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old. Remember not
the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD."
(Psalm 25:4-7 KJV)
Our choir sings this song at church, called Unseen Hand. It is hard for some people to trust in that
unseen hand - most people need something visible to hold onto. But when you look at life - God is visible! Since
October 9th I've been writing to you about Presley Melton - the doctors gave her about 2 hours to live. Here it
is November 18th and she is in rehab and she may be going home on December 4th. An awesome work of the Unseen Hand!
A week after Presley, I asked you to pray for a woman named Garnet who had complications following the birth of her child.
The Lord miraculously brought her through and her body is healed. An awesome move of the Unseen Hand! Only we
see it! If you really examine your life and those around you - you can see God's Mighty hand.

I love 2 Corinthians 4 verse 18 "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at
the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."
Keep your eyes upon the Cross of Christ my friends! Watch as the Hand of Jesus, unseen, makes little miracles in your
life. Most of you who read these daily devotions, know that 2 Corinthians 6:2 is one of my favorite verses "(For
he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted
time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)" It is never too late - until it is! Nothing
we've done is unforgivable, except rejecting Jesus. Trust that unseen hand today. He loves you and His desire
is that you desire a closer walk with Him.
I
pray you all have a Blessed Monday. As you prepare for Thanksgiving Day, look around you and count your Blessings -
name them one by one - count your many blessing, see what God has done :-) Love, Tracy
