Remember Me
"I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my
God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call
to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. The cords of death entangled me; the
torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted
me. In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my
cry came before him, into his ears."
(Psalm 18:1-6 NIV)
I am encouraged each morning when I open the
word of God. My husband and I were talking at lunch yesterday about depression. He said sometimes I think I am
depressed. I said, I don't see that. I think sometimes you are down in a valley so low that you can't
figure out how to get out of it. But when you set your eyes upon Jesus everything works out and He brings people into
your path that will encourage you and remind you of His hope and His glory. I know for a fact when he changed.
It started February 28, 1999 and increased on March 9, 1999. The day his mother passed away. His mother, Emily
was the best mother in law anyone could want. I am not trying to put her on a pedistal, she just was a kind, sweet,
and loving Mother - she loved the Lord and she loved her family and her friends. I too changed when both my parents
passed away, especially my Mother, that bond that you have is gone, yet it is not. I am flooded with wonderful memories,
I dream about her all the time - She was the best Mother anyone could ever want - ever. Kind, sweet, soft spoken gentle
touch, oh how I miss her! But in each one of her 7 daughters - is a little piece of her. I see it in each one
of us. As I read the Bible, I an encouraged to know as a child of God that there is HOPE and I have assurance that I
will see them all once again.
So if you are in the valley today because you are thinking of all you have lost,
think about all you have to gain by surrenduring all to Jesus ... living for Him each day brings you that much closer to spending
eternity with Him and loved ones that have already gone on to be with Him.
God loves you and His desire is that
your walk with Jesus grows each day. Not to be about you, but about Him and give Him all the glory, honor and praise!
Please continue to pray for Rich, Bill, Steve, Terry, Alex and VIcki. Thank you for standing in the gap for
these people. Even though you may not know them, the Lord knows exactly who they are.
Love, Tracy
Remember me
In a Bible cracked and faded by the years
Remember me
In a santuary filled with silent prayers
CHORUS:
And age to age
And heart to heart
Bound by grace and peace
Child of wonder, Child of God
I'll
remember you
Remember Me
Remember me
When
the color of the sunset fills the sky
Remember me
When you pray and the tears of joy
fall from your eyes
CHORUS
Remember me
When the children leave
their Sunday school with smiles
Remember me
When they're old enough to teach
Old enough to preach
Old enough to leave
CHORUS
Age to age and
heart to heart
Child of wonder child of God
Remember
me
Age to age and heart to heart
Child of wonder
child of God
