About Us

In June of 2000, the Lord placed a burden on Tracy Beckham's heart to start writing a daily devotion to hurting friends and family. She started writing Prayer of the Day to encourage her friends and family in Christ. She began to send devotion each weekday to close friends and relatives; however, God had bigger plans for this to minister in other ways. As people heard about the daily devotions, the Lord began to move in a powerful way. Prayer of the Day was created with the sole purpose of getting the message of Jesus Christ and His truth to the world. Because of prayers being lifted up, seeking the leading of the Holy Spirit, and being obedient to the direction the Lord has for our ministry, The daily devotions have begun to grow at a tremendous speed.
